Budtender

We are a Dispensary/Lounge on Davie looking for budtenders/customer service reps to join our team Looking for Full-time or Part-time.

Starting is $18 plus tips

Budtender Roles include:

- Exceptional sales experience from beginning to end: greeting customers, explaining the process
- employing effective sales techniques while adhering to company policies, the Cannabis Control and Licensing Act & provincial regulations.
- Guiding each customer through their transaction to ensure that they have an excellent retail experience demonstrating in-depth product knowledge, actively listening to and assessing customer needs and offering products that align with customers needs.
- Building authentic relationships with customers while ensuring a smooth, efficient sales process.
- Have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to deliver efficient customer service that is professional, helpful and informative.
- Be able to receive constructive feedback.

**Need to have**:

- 1-2 years experience in customer service
- 1-2 years experience in a cannabis dispensary (preferred)
- 19 years of age or older, as specified by the provincial government.
- A strong desire to to work in the cannabis industry
- The ability to make a positive impact with other employees through education, trust of product knowledge and maintaining respectful relationships.
- High attention to detail and experience handling cash; opening and closing registers
- Selling it right Verification ( before your first worked day)
- Flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends to accommodate store needs as required, able to work the hours of 12:00pm
- 9:00pm
- Mature and warm personality with the ability to develop alongside colleagues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Vancouver, BC V6G 1V9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Selling It Right (preferred)
