We are one of Canada's largest kombucha producers, brewing organic, authentic & delicious kombucha since 2008.

This position also involves complementary tasks such as ingredients inventory, new product development, physical activities and manual labor when required.

Quality Technician Tasks:
Responsible for working with production workers to provide quality assurance.

Supports quality control policies for production workers and performs checks through GMP training.

Create standard operating procedure documents.

Ensure Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards are maintained Comply with environmental, health and safety policies. Perform routine testing, checking, and analysis of ingredients, materials, finished products, brewing, and packaging.

Verifies production control sheets as well as performing production checks such as temperature, pH, sensory analysis, etc.

Generates quality reports from product evaluations and trend analysis.

Calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment.

Conducts pre-operational checks - inspects by performing visual checks and random cleaning to ensure that equipment has been cleaned and sanitized before and after production.

Provide data to troubleshoot Brewing and Packaging quality issues.

Follow company procedures and wear protective equipment as required.

Ability to work on physical activities and manual labor, if required,

Performs other duties or projects as assigned by Production Manager.
