**Job description**
Responsibilities**:Tutor students in French in grade levels from grade 1 to 8th grade **Grade homework (no work is required outside of class time) **Maintain student progress reports**
Position Specifics **-Create a fun and supportive learning environment **-Instruct and teach students in French **-Keep detailed records of student progress **-Communicate with parents when needed
Requirements **-Highschool diploma or higher majoring in education, or related field **-Ability to follow instructions **-Ability to work independently and teach the student on his/her own **-Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner **-Special consideration for those who want to be teachers**
**This is an independent contractor position; the tutor will be responsible for reporting his/her tax & income information to the government.**
