Waxing Specialist

Schedule - Availability**:Monday 10:30am -6:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm, Friday 10:30am - 7:00 Saturday 9:30am - 5:00pm**

Thank you for your interest in this position at Allure Body Bar. We are a specialist waxing bar that focuses on quick, painless, affordable services. We take pride in our client education, attention to detail in services, and high standards regarding policies and procedures.

Rate of pay to start is $18 per hour, reassessment depending on experience and performance. Waxers receive their tips as well as commission on sales.

Ability to travel to other locations when needed is an asset.

Important qualities include:

- Must be comfortable with answering phones, booking appointments and cashing clients out
- You must be able to work both independently and as a team.
- Understands and follows health code, and all policies and procedures.
- Ability to adjust to our methods and does not deviate from our specified training.
- Takes advantage of all sales opportunities and works with client to provide the appropriate products.
- Team Spirit - respects your workspace, other coworkers, and clients.
- Flexibility in availability to cover shifts in case of illness, emergencies, scheduled shift coverages.
- Open to both positive and negative feedback from guests, willing to build on critiques to become a stronger service provider.
- Willingness to help with covering shifts when possible, assisting front desk with cleaning duties as needed.
- Service providers are in charge of cleaning and stocking their rooms and sanitizing their own tools.
- We also provide eyebrow tinting and intimate area skin lightening services, and we provide med-spa services like laser at our Newmarket and Danforth location.
