We are now recruiting for a Receptionist to join our team This role will be the first point of contact and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors of our Edmonton head office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome visitors entering the organization
- Operate the company switchboard by responding, screening and directing telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner and take and relay messages when appropriate
- Receive, sort and/or distribute company memoranda, as needed
- Organize interoffice and outgoing mail deliveries, utilizing postal and courier services to ensure on time deliveries
- Follow-up with delivery recipients and/or courier services on delayed or missing deliveries
- Draft, edit, and finalize various letters, reports, raw data or other various forms of documentation
- Provide administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and document sorting
- Take and place orders for office supplies, and deliver them to the proper departments
- Maintain routine clerical records, logs and data and compile routine reports
- Promote and adhere to the company's safety program and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
- Ensure a solid understanding and comply with the principles of the company's Cod of Ethics

**Qualifications | Requirements**:

- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Post-secondary education with a focus in Administration or Business is preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in administration or other clerical position
- Knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is performed in an indoor setting and may include a combination of standing, sitting and walking. Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
- Must be able to to repetitively life and carry at least 10lbs on a regular basis
- Limited, to no travel required
- Overtime may be required
- Compliance with all company policies
