Winter Patroller

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is recruiting 2 Full Time Winter Patrollers for a 6 month contract in the Department of Public Works.

This position is responsible for the patrolling and winter road maintenance in the lakeshore area and operates a variety of equipment for snow removal purposes. The contract runs from November 1 - April 30.

Applicants must possess the following skills/qualifications:

- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Mental alertness
- Quick decision making
- G drivers license
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience operating a snow plow
- Experience dealing with the public
- Experience patrolling winter roads, or be available to attend a patrolling course

**Salary**: $26.12-$26.62 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
