**HWCCCC is excited to hire a cook for our newest full day child care program opening in July 2023**

**We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications**:

- degree/diploma in Food Services,
- current Food handlers certificate,
- standard First aid/CPR level C,
- experience preparing food for infants—school age.
- Everyday, you’ll help children navigate their world through the love of food.

**This includes opportunities to**:

- Plan, purchase and prepare nutritional snacks and meals
- Support the development of healthy eating habits
- Work closely with educators to ensure allergy restrictions are supported
- Take point in ensuring that Ministry regulations are maintained
- Work a minimum of 30 hours a week
- Oversee every aspect of the kitchen
- Support the creation and implementation of HWCCCC menus
- Work closely with the Centre staff to implement Healthy eating

**Experience**:

- child care cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (Done in the last 6 months) (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR-C Certification (preferred)
