Experienced Florist

Seeking Floral Event Designer for a fast-paced, high-end floral design company, Herrington's Luxury Floral Design located in the Fairmont Banff Springs. Must be a motivated self-starter who takes initiative and manages work independently in a highly responsive manner with a positive attitude.

In this role, you will work with clients to design events and installations and be responsible for bringing their vision to life. You will also be responsible for day to day orders and floral shop operations.

The following is a general list of tasks that this role would be responsible for, but may not encompass all responsibilities:

- Lead client consultations and provide timely proposals, design board development, and correspondence during the sales process with clients and vendors; responsible for follow-up client communication
- Conceptualize and execute high end event design projects through the use of colors, floral and textural materials and vessels, while meeting established criteria for brand aesthetic and cost of goods
- Lead and participate in the execution and setup of installations and events
- Create floral recipes based on the aesthetic of the project
- Coordinate logistics with venue and other vendors
- Run day to day operations of the shop

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY AND BE WILLING TO RELOCATE IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE MOUNTAINS. PLEASE BE AWARE IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND PLACES TO LIVE AND HIGH COST OF LIVING AND THIS WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
