Optician/optician Assistant

Etobicoke Optometrists is a long establish full-scope Optometry practice in central Etobicoke, providing state of the art eye care for over 40 years.

We are known for providing one of Etobicoke's largest selection of designer eyewear paired with premium lens offerings at a great value to our patients.

We provide contact lens examinations and specialty lens fits.

Our examination technology includes autorefraction/autokeratometry, autolensometers, NCT, fundus photography, visual field analyzer, and OCT imaging.

YOUR DUTIES:
We are looking for a fun and energetic optician/optician assistant to join our team to help manage our busy flow of patients.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- selection of patient eyewear and recommendation of lenses based on the Doctor's prescription
- verification of all orders
- fitting and adjustments of finished product to dispense
- CL teaches and fits
- inventory management
- display arrangement and marketing of product
- confirmation of office appointments
- pre-testing of patients in preparation of their eye examinations
- booking eye examinations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
