Lead Carpenter

The Gorham Group constructs new homes, under HCRA regulation and Tarion warranty, in Mississippi Mills and the surrounding area. We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to fill a site lead position.

In a Lead Carpenter role, you will be responsible for day-to-day site management. This includes ongoing oversight of labourers and apprentices, material management, recording of daily site activities, planning next steps, and ensuring site safety and cleanliness.

The Gorham Group believes strongly in the benefits of maintaining work/life balance. In this respect, we do not require or expect employees to work more than a 40 hour week. On occasion, additional hours may be available, however they are never mandatory.

Compensation for this position includes dental coverage, a health spending account, group life and disability insurance, and a company vehicle.
