**The Opportunity**:
The Recreation Aide role will be serving the community in Grimshaw, Alberta at **Care Human Services**. The Recreation Aide is responsible for ensuring top resident care is priority, with an elevated level of focus in time management. We are looking for a caring professional, with strong leadership skills to guide our dynamic team who provide hospitality and wellness services within our supportive living community.

- Ensures the performance of recreational services as specified in the Care/Service Plan
- Facilitating and encouraging Resident advocacy
- Responsible for audits and reports, providing and evaluating the delivery of recreational services based on the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan
- Supports the residents in identifying personal leisure barriers
- Follows the Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety
- Assisting with daily life and duties within the Community
- Participates in projects and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain appropriate levels of certification
- Someone who embodies patient leadership skills, while exemplifying team player behavioristics
- Professional motivator, coach, and mentor

**Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from**:

- Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required
- Experience and/or training in recreational services preferred
