Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Specialist and general technical problem-solver to join our growing team. As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for setup and installation of network equipment, Windows and Linux devices, and generally ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. If you have a strong background in network setup and security, and enjoy technical challenges, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco, Sonicwall, and Fortinet network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Diagnose and repair computer and other devices
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security measures
- Assist in the development of a knowledgebase to help resolve common problems
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as updating firmware
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and diagnostics
- Proficient in operating systems such as Linux and Windows
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Must be able to work onsite in Niagara-on-the-Lake weekdays from 8-4 or 9-5 and be on call for emergencies as needed
