**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their food selections. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a positive dining experience through effective communication and a friendly demeanor. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

Pay: $15.00-$18.31 per hour
