Risk Analyst

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor business performances regularly and generate performance reports for management
- Analyze root causes of business problems and recommend corrective actions
- Develop business presentations for senior management
- Present product/portfolio performance at monthly senior management meetings
- Monitor key risk indicators and develop risk reporting mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate risk assessment
- Provide strategic recommendations based on risk assessment findings to support business growth and profitability objectives
- Conduct regular reviews of existing risk management processes and propose enhancements for continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management to ensure compliance and proactive risk mitigation

**Requirements**:

- Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
- Experience within Financial industry an asset
- Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements
- Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools: Excel pivot tables, VBA, SQL queries, graphing, PowerPoint,
- In-depth knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Crystal Reports, Business Objects and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance
- Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline preferred
- Fulltime, permanent availability
