Medical Aesthetician

Job Overview:
We are hiring Face First Medical Aesthetics and Wellness Clinic is a medical aesthetics clinic in Orillia, Ontario. We currently offer and have developed a medical aesthetics menu of treatments including facials, microneedling, chemical peels, & laser technologies.

We are looking to expand our team and have a Medical Aesthetician/ Laser Technician offer these services to our clients. We are looking for someone who is honest, personable and willing to learn and grow within our team.

A medical aesthetician diploma is a must.

The Accountabilities:

- Perform all medical aesthetic services in a professional and safe manner
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service
- Support the team in achieving overall monthly performance targets
- Identify client goals and recommend services and products to achieve optimal results while ensuring client safety
- Educate clients on necessity for home skincare and recommend products to meet their needs
- High level of professionalism and competence within the medical industry.
- Maintain equipment and follow proper safety measures
- Accurately documenting charts; take before and after photos
- Understanding the value of good customer care and improving health and wellness
- Maintain quality service by following clinic protocol
- Maintain up to date knowledge within the Aesthetics
- Respond to post procedure follow ups from internal and external clients

**Requirements**:

- Medical Aesthetician Certificate, and minimum 1 year experience
- Excellent writing and oral skills
- Must be experienced and certified with lasers
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Great sales techniques is a must: ability to sell and upgrade services and skincare products
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Knowledge of skin varieties, conditions and basic treatments
- Experience in medical dermatology setting or full-service medical spa with a wide variety of client populations is an asset
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate patient and clinic needs
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self motivated, punctual and work in a collaborative team environment
- Willing to continue knowledge of new and advanced training and techniques
- Must have experience working with the variety of treatment options such as:

- Chemical Peels
- Laser Hair Removal
- Facials

*Laser (Alma/Clarity)

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Part time to start, build up as clientele builds
