We are currently looking for a
**Full Time Manager** to join our Clinical Operations team and lead the
**Intensive Care Unit, In-Patient Surgical/Telemetry unit, Respiratory Therapists & Surgical Day Care programs** at
**Ridge Meadows Hospital** located in Maple Ridge, B.C.
As a community hospital,
**Ridge Meadows Hospital** provides primary and secondary acute care and specialty services including 24/7 emergency, ambulatory care, day surgery, general and internal medicine, rehabilitation, maternity care, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, critical care, pharmacy, medical imaging, and a medical laboratory for both inpatient and outpatient needs. The site also offers a continuum of adult psychiatric and social services available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
In this Manager position, you would be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for managing and providing leadership for assigned clinical operations at Ridge Meadows Hospital including the Intensive Care Unit. This work will include partnerships with other Fraser Health programs, primary care physicians and relevant community service partners to ensure that we are creating a cohesive system responsive to our client’s needs.

- Manage resources through the development of operating and capital budgets, review of expenses.
- Provide leadership of people to cultivate an environment that encourages engagement, innovation, individual and team achievements.
- Recruit new staff and provide mentorship with meaningful feedback to team members through recognition and performance improvement to increase employee engagement and retention.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical staff and other internal and external partners.
- Participate in planning of short and long term tactical clinical, operational service plans.

- An undergraduate degree in health sciences
- Seven (7) years’ clinical experience,
- Two (2) years in a leadership role.

Reporting to assigned Director(s), Clinical Operations, the Manager is accountable for managing and providing leadership for assigned clinical operation(s) through the leadership provided to staff, or the management of service contracts with contracted agencies.
Through the direct leadership and management of people and resources, the manager oversees the operational, administrative activities of a clinical operation(s); or, supports the operation of clinical services supports for services as provided through contracted agencies.
