Richmond, Canada CRC Health Centre Full time

CRC Drugs Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time/Casual Pharmacy Student (year 3 and above) This position has flexible scheduling (6 and 8 hour shifts, as well as working 1-4 days depending on YOUR availability). Schedules are usually posted monthly 2 weeks in advance.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accumulate experience in the pharmaceutical field or the healthcare field in general. CRC Drugs is located within the CRC Health Centre, which is a multidisciplinary setting with GPs, Specialists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Lab technicians all under the same roof

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Speaks Cantonese and/or Mandarin
- Outgoing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Weekend availability
- Prior experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Prior experience in a health/medical field or from a science background
- Prior experience in the customer service industry
- Has a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (for occasional prescription drugs delivery)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prescription intake and drop-off, pick-up, as well as working with other team members to keep the pharmacy in an organized state
- Customer service: greet customers, guide patients in OTC/supplement sections and answer their general questions, as well as point-of-sales operation
- Counting and packaging medications including basic compounding, as well as blister packing medications
- General assistance to the pharmacy in other duties including inventory management (receiving, recalls, crediting, etc)
- Other duties as assigned by Pharmacy supervisor
