In your new role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of inventory. The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates the Warehouse team, Drivers and Receiver in a manner that creates engagement and productivity within the team and the facility. The secondary role of this position is to assist the Operations Manager in identifying and improving operational effectiveness and efficiency within all areas of the warehouse facility. As a key member of the Operations Team, participates in departmental projects and operational committees, and other organizational initiatives.

**A Day In The Life**:

- Supervise the warehouse team to ensure all operational activities are completed in a timely manner
- Develop and improve new processes to ensure any problems are routinely solved.
- Work with the Production Planner and Procurement teams to ensure that there are adequate inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies on a frequent basis for correction and recommend root cause resolutions.
- Assures product quality by practicing and enforcing HACCP, Food Safety and all GMP requirements in all aspects of the warehouse operations.

**What You Bring**:

- 5+ years in a Supervisory role; Operations, Logistics, or similar
- A strong emotional intelligence
- Effective communication skills - can you rally employees and create positivity flowing in the workplace with your words? Taking charge of clarity both getting and giving
- Proactive planning, risk/change management - Do you make multiple disaster plans (worst/best-case scenarios)?
- Experience in delivering valuable feedback in real-time
- Exceptional organizational skills - time management, scheduling, prioritizing tasks, delegating to-dos
- An engineering degree would be considered an asset - but will take experience into consideration first

**About Us**:
Red Dog Raw Food Company has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of raw food for dogs and cats for over 20 years. Our HACCP certified manufacturing facility located in Port Coquitlam is experiencing significant growth. Red Dog’s products are sold nationally at specialty pet food retailers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
