Raglan mine is looking for a geophysicist to contribute to the mineral exploration of its property while respecting the environment and the communities. You will have the opportunity to participate in the production and interpretation of several geophysical techniques associated with the search for Nickel for the Raglan Mine. Reporting to the Project Geophysicist, you will contribute to the discovery of critical and strategic minerals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Your primary duties will be:

- Assist the Project Geophysicist in executing exploration programs.
- Coordinate the production of contractors to conduct borehole (Surface & Subsurface), surface and airborne geophysical surveys (approximately 5 to 30 people).
- Maintain and optimize the accuracy of drill targets in collaboration with the geoscientists.
- Participate in and possibly produce interpretation summaries of electromagnetic surveys, 3D geophysical models as well as maps, reports or other interpretative products as required.
- Collaborate in research aimed at furthering knowledge of the earth's structure and composite, locating, and identifying resources.

Your Profile:

- Have a Bachelor's degree in geophysics or similar geological engineering program.
- Be a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec or able to become one.
- Experience in drilling and exploration geophysics would be an important asset, especially in electromagnetic and magnetotelluric techniques.
- You are a good communicator and enjoy teamwork in a cross-cultural context.
- Knowledge of various software: Geosoft Oasis Montaj, EMIT Maxwell, Mira Geoscience Analyst, QGIS, as well as various other modeling or geophysical inversion software; programming in Python is also an asset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingualism is an asset.

What we offer:

- Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
- Rotation schedule of 2/2: equivalent to 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave or possibility Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave.
- Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
