In business since 2004, **Escape Fire Protection Ltd. **is a well-established sprinkler-system contractor with long-term, high-profile projects throughout the lower mainland. We are looking to add to our Project Management team.

**Areas of Accountability**
- Source materials, equipment, and supplies for the company's projects
- Coordinate purchasing activities and set priorities to attain optimum quality, delivery, price, and terms objectives.
- Participate in cost reduction activities and projects to achieve established savings goals for procured items.
- Evaluate all quotes received from vendors
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers including freight costs and other logistic issues.
- Initiate and issue purchase orders, change notices, and correspondence with vendors as required.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers
- Manage inventory and ensure that adequate supplies are on hand to meet the company's needs
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company is getting the best possible prices, delivery times, and quality of products
- Monitor market trends to stay informed about changes in prices.
- Control costs by finding ways to reduce the company's spending on materials, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, designers, estimators & fabrication shop manager, to ensure that procurement activities support projects and goals
- Manage inventory process to ensure & ensure accurate records are kept.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Hours of Work**
- Full-Time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Please note that compensation is dependent on experience._
