Security Dispatcher

Securiguard is seeking Dispatcher for healthcare facilities in Oshawa/ Whitby/ Ajax/ Bowmanville/ Port Perry Region.

**Pay Rate**: $20/hour

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for monitoring access control systems, fire protection systems, CCTV, and elevators and the safety of the building. You will be logging information, dispatching the security and building operations staff accordingly, conducting various audits and ensuring that security patrol duties are completed.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Valid Security Guard License and CPR
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Security Guard
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a control room operator/dispatcher
- Must be knowledgeable in various systems including but not limited to fire and life safety systems, CCTV, Access control systems, Intercom systems
- Must be able to type min of 50wpm
- Ability to communicate well and be understood
- Ability to handle stressful situations and high volumes of calls
- Must be reliable, of sound character and a team-player
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office and excel
- Must be able to MULTITASK in a FAST-PACED environment
