**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Behaviour Interventionist/Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will be supervised by a registered speech-language pathologist and will be working with individuals with developmental disabilities to improve their social and communication skills, as well as their overall functioning in daily life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep track of individuals' behaviour, speech & language and functional skills
- Support client while at day care (i.e., during play, eating snack)
- Communicate with individuals' families and other relevant parties to provide updates on progress and any concerns
- Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices in the field

Qualifications:

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to adapt and implement relevant and purposeful activities that support intervention goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, direct support from a speech therapist to further your skills and opportunities to engage in an interdisciplinary team. Hours are M-F from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Anticipated start date is December.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
