**Position Overview**:
Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions (MDS) is one of the newest of Multimatic’s North American divisions. It is a supplier of suspension parts and welded assemblies to the automotive industry, manufacturing front and rear lower control arms, links, stabilizer bars and various welded assemblies in a modern 240,000 square foot facility.

Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions is looking for a **_Junior Buyer - MRO_**_ _who will be responsible for carrying out various entry-level tasks related to the purchasing of goods, services, and supplies, as well as participation in negotiations and agreements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review requisitions and enter in the SAP system to generate POs. Manually enter MVP POs into SAP.
- Assist with contacting vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliers.
- Aid with various purchasing procedures to support the budget.
- Assist with evaluating cost saving opportunities and supporting the implementation of those cost saving opportunities.
- Assist with monitoring and recording vendor performance against agreed on price, delivery and quality standards and industry pricing to maintain the best possible overall profitability for the company.
- Ensure Conflict Mineral submissions are received in a timely manner and continuously follow up until all are received.
- Distribute MRO Purchase Order’s to Finance, Purchasing, and Vendors.
- Process electronic requisitions and convert approved ones to PO’s.
- Hyperlink all MRO PO’s to Req Log and ensure status of the PO is correct.
- Mailing out Purchase Orders as requested.
- Maintain the MRO filing system and create new folders for the following year and move current year to storage files.
- Provide reception backup as required.

**Education and Experience**:

- A college diploma in the area of purchasing or materials management.
- Actively working towards a Purchasing designation (CPP or equivalent).
- 1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and MRP concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to enable amicable vendor and interdepartmental relationships within the purchasing department.
- Excellent communication skills in regards to written reports, and telephone manners.
- Strong problems solving techniques and abilities.
