Warehouse/driver

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Warehouse Support is a vital member of the logistics team and above all, leads each day with kindness, consideration, and a passion for supporting Nutrition for Learning’s mission to help ensure all young people have universal access to food while at school.

The Warehouse Support is responsible for moving, shipping, storing, and unloading various materials either by hand or with the use of machinery. You are required to have a forklift operator’s certification, and will from time to time operate a forklift to manage heavy and bulky items. The Warehouse Support will also assist drivers by loading and unloading trucks and joining drivers on deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Shipping and receiving.
- Supporting ordering and inventory efforts - picking and packing.
- Performing cleaning, organizing, and other errands and tasks as required.
- Assisting deliveries.
- Communicating with the N4L team and various program and school partners.
- Assisting at special events with set-up, tear-down, and general support.
- Running various errands and performing other tasks as required.
- Being on-time and considerate of other team members.

- Ability to perform physical duties as required.
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
- The ability to receive training and feedback as tools and opportunities for growth.
- Good written and oral English communication skills.
- Some proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is an asset.
- Resourcefulness, initiative, and flexibility to function effectively as part of a small team.
- Understanding of the values and mission of Nutrition for Learning.
- Knowledge and experience of working within an anti-oppression and anti-racist framework.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
