**Job Summary**:
Now, if you were to come on board as a Porter Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

- Co-ordinate and monitor all Portering activities
- Liaise with front line Call Centre operators, porters, and cleaning staff in addressing areas in compliance
- Utilize the internal software effectively
- Compile, collate & interpret statistics for regularly inspected areas
- Complete in-depth QA reports.
- Assist with the development of best practices for operations.
- Encourage and inspire staff to reach benchmarks through innovative methods.
- Advocate strict adherence to the infection control process
- Creation of all necessary shift reports, including maintenance deficiency requests for immediate or scheduled consideration
- Monitoring discharge cleaning and patient transport tasks to ensure compliance
- Ensure efficient patient flow throughout the hospital
- Effectively manage a large team of porters and call center associates

- Post-secondary education
- Three years of management experience in healthcare, facilities, portering, environmental services or related.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Windows.
