The kitchen steward position is responsible for maintaining the kitchens, dishwasher areas and storage rooms in clean and safe fashion. Sorts, cleans and stores all china, glassware and flatware; tasks important to the overall productivity of our F&B operating departments and ensuring our customers have memorable experiences.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintains standards for department cleanliness and safety
- Sort and wash all china, glassware and flatware, ensure storage in proper locations
- Ensures that work station opening and closing procedures are carried out
- Maintains all occupational standards including WHMIS and regional health department policies
- Wash pots and pans and properly store
- Reports any deficiencies of equipment or product to Executive Chef
- Keep all floors and general areas swept and mopped
- Performed other duties as assigned

**SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED**:

- 1-3 years position experience
- Flexible and an ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide coaching and mentoring to associates
- Neat, well groomed and professional

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evenings
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
