**Lead Estimator - Civil
**Ballina Contracting** is a civil construction company based in British Columbia.

We are seeking a **Lead** **Estimator** with a background in **civil construction and engineering**. If you are a positive, people-oriented individual who is looking for a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for advancement then this job is the right one for you Position available in the Fraser Valley.

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of well-rounded work experience in civil construction is required.
- An advanced understanding of civil construction controls processes and work procedures is required.
- Previous exposure to construction estimating processes and systems is preferred.
- The ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications for different project owners and specification sources.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam (or similar) software skills are required.
- The ability to work through problems independently and find solutions.
- Committed to a safe and healthy work environment, with a zero-injury culture, and carries these values into estimate development.
- Must value a respectful workplace environment where all ideas can be shared and acting with integrity, humility, and respect in all facets of work is required.
- Thrives in an environment that requires you to work hard, make good decisions, and create accountability for results.

- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure to deadlines.
- Well organized and detail orientated.
- Self-motivated, able to work with mínimal direction and oversight.

**Details**:

- Based in Chilliwack, BC
- Ability to travel to job sites as and when required in the Fraser Valley
- Valid drivers license
- Compensation commensurate on experience
