**Position and Responsibilities**

Coordinators and Timers will work very closely together to ensure successful execution of events. Together, the team will plan for an event, travel, and manage any changes. It is our goal that all staff be trained in and understand both roles so that our teams can support each other as best as possible while on site.

We will provide training on how to set up and use the equipment, and how to use the timing platform. Support from other team members off site is always available virtually and through the week. Generally, the responsibilities for each position are as follows, but please keep in mind the dynamic nature of this field.

Race Timer
- Responsible for the _software/program _required for an event
- Managing and coordinating the race team assigned to the event
- Communicating with Race Directors, volunteers, and other race staff members prior, during, and post event
- Reviewing and confirming race programs prior to event
- Managing the program during the event and producing reports, awards, and results
- Managing post race photo exports, corrections, and other communications with race staff as needed to ensure successful completion of an event
- Assisting coordinators in set-up and break-down of equipment
- Packing up and returning equipment to the office in a clean and organized manner post race

Race Coordinator
- Responsible for _hardware/equipment_ required for an events
- Setting up and managing equipment prior to and during the race
- Coordinating with race staff members prior to and during the race regarding set up, pick up, timing needs, and changes
- Assisting timer with manual backup and verification of finishers, results outputs, and other requirements during and post race
- Packing up and returning equipment to the office in a clean and organized manner post race

Hours
- Part time (20 +/-)
- Weekends
- Seasonale (Primarily April-October)

Pay
- $20-25 per hour

**Requirements**:

- Valid G2 or G class drivers license
- Interest in athletics (running, cycling, multisport ) and/or technology (computer science, programming )
- Able to delegate and work with a team
- Energetic and motivated
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, high intensity environment
- Friendly and outgoing
- High level of problem solving skills
- Flexible and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Prior timing experience is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends only

Work Location: On the road
