Psychotherapist/social

Opportunity to practice full-time or part-time in an established, dynamic multidisciplinary private practice in Belleville, Ontario, serving Central and South Eastern Ontario. Clinicians who wish to travel from other centres to practice for a day or two per week are welcome. The practice has a diverse referral base, allowing Associates to specialize in a particular area and provide various assessment and treatment services. Opportunities for assessment include psychoeducational and comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents and adults. Opportunities for treatment services include individual, couple and family therapy and treatment of clients referred by EAPs, WSIB, Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans Affairs, VQRP, C.A.S. and private insurance.

**HOURS OF WORK**

Monday to Friday, part-time or full-time, flexible hours, including daytime and evenings. Virtual and/or In-person service delivery.

**EDUCATION**

Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Psychotherapy, or Occupational Therapy with Registration in good standing. Training, consultation, and supervision can be provided for working with specific client groups if needed. Psychologists and Psychological Associates wanting Supervised Practice are welcome.

**EXPERIENCE**

Minimum of 2 years Post Master’s Degree experience is preferred. Able and motivated to work on various cases from multiple referral sources.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Individual, couple and family counselling and psychotherapy.
- Psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults for various conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, conflict, PTSD, anger and stress management.
- Family mediation, trauma debriefing, risk assessment and parenting capacity assessments are other opportunities available.
- Experience with brief screening and assessment, triage, report writing, formation of a treatment plan, case management, referral, and follow-up services.
