Brampton, Canada Rafat General Contractor Inc. Full time

As an ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) Site Superintendent with over 5 years of Canadian site supervision experience, you will be responsible for overseeing ICI construction projects (new build, cradle-to-grave) for ICI building structures ranging from $10m to $100m in value. The projects may include recreation centers, transit stations, recycling, libraries, schools, and other municipal buildings; hospitals and healthcare, retail and commercial and industrial buildings. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Providing us a project list is highly recommended.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and site documentation.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Manage site resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
- Utilize strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to oversee building structures and systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction.
- Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge related to building structures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management and safety are a plus.
