Host/hostess

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and assist with orders
- Assist servers with table set-up and clearing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stations
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in guest services or a similar role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality industry practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week

- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
