Regional Sales Manager, Winnipeg

We are a growing national AV business seeking an experienced AV salesperson.
Based in Winnipeg and reporting to the Vice President Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting our products, managing territorial accounts and developing new clientele.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Seek out and develop AV sales opportunities
- Achieve annual sales targets
- Retain and expand business with existing accounts by fostering effective working relations with resellers
- Collaborate with internal resources to meet customer requirements for successful proposals and business relationships
- Identify and participate in tradeshows (locally and nation-wide as needed)
- Provide weekly and quarterly reports on activities
- Ensure timely use of sales tools such as the CRM, entering customer information and status updates - building and maintaining an active targeting funnel to track and report on open, won and lost opportunities
- Participates in weekly sales meetings
Key Abilities and Skills:
- Sales centric and customer service oriented with a strong focus on communication and relationship building
- Results orientated, goal oriented and able to implement programs and adapt to change
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A team player who can roll up their sleeves to tackle business opportunities and challenges with a cross-functional team
- Sharp customer and sales prospecting skills
- Possesses solid and creative information based and selling skills
- Hard-working, highly organized, and self-motivated
- Collaborative and works well both independently and as part of a team
- Possesses strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. French is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Be equally comfortable on the phone and interacting with customers in the field and in office
- Be genuine, confident, humble, trustworthy, positive, and fun
Additional Job Requirements:
- 5-7 years of sales representative experience within the AV industry
- Must possess a valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Able to travel within territory regularly, and nationally as needed
- Friendly and enthusiastic
