Countryside Kennels has been providing animal care services to the Tricities and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We offer boarding of dogs, cats and small furries while our clients enjoy vacations. We also offer grooming services. Day to day is very varied and its never a dull moment at our kennels

On a daily basis essential tasks include; cleaning the kennels and the cattery, feeding and administering medication (as required), on-leash dog walks around our property, playtime in our exercise yard, basic animal husbandry, greeting clients, answering the telephone, taking payments. Additional tasks include helping the groomer to prep groom dogs with bathing and drying.

Who we are looking for: You’ll be someone who isn’t afraid of hard work. You’ll have a ton of enthusiasm and a zest for learning new things. We need you to be adaptable and show some initiative. You’ll be comfortable with handling a variety of different sized dogs who all have their own personalities. We’ll also need you be cool with kitty cats and small animals, and occasionally, birds. Prior experience isn’t essential, but would be a benefit, however, full training of all required tasks will be given. When it comes to working hours, you will need to be flexible during our summer peak season and shifts will include weekends, and occasional evenings.

Pay: From $17.40 per hour
