**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Lead hand, the Valve Technician will provide quality workmanship on the assembly, fit, and install of pre-fabricated parts to form finished products while maintaining high standards of production, documentation and safety

**Primary Duties**:

- Read and follow drawings, procedures and work instructions
- Assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts to form sub-assemblies or finished products
- Maintain accurate database and documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintenance of equipment
- Record non-conformances as required
- Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated and in good operating condition
- Calibrate, function test, and trouble shoot choke valves, and a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric positioners and actuation
- Actively support and comply with corporate programs, standards, and policies, including health & safety, quality and environmental programs

**Qualifications**:

- **2-3 years of valve testing / assembly or similar mechanical related experience**:

- **Mechanically inclined**:

- **Experience with Subsea products an asset**:

- Able to read and understand drawings
- Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A commitment to workplace health and safety, environmental, and quality objectives
