We are seeking an **Roller Shades Installer / Blinds Installer** to facilitate our installation service. Our Installer must present the company in a professional manner while respecting the clients property. This position is permanent full-time and based in the GTA and covers the GTA territory but may require occasional travel outside of this region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Travel locally around the GTA and surrounding areas. (some further travels within Ontario may be required periodically)
- Help organize the products that will be installed
- Load and unload the company vehicles for the required projects
- Conduct site visits for installation evaluation and measurements
- Ensuring safe delivery and handling of all material
- Stage products onsite ready for installation
- Install Window Coverings based on specified requirements/system
- Clean up excess product and garbage removal as required
- Complete necessary paperwork and ensure communication with sales and technical support teams
- Load vehicles with necessary inventory for jobs (i.e. spare parts, extra fasteners etc.)
- Conduct bi-weekly inventory count of company vehicle
- Observe company safety and security procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions
- Be available for work on weekends as required (rare)
- Be available for occasional travel within and out of the province, including multi-night stays in hotels (very rare)
- Assist in production / shipping and handling / warehouse areas when installation services are not required (very rare)
- Other duties as required

- Skilled or capable with basic hand and power tools
- Enjoys hands on work

Other Qualifications:

- Full Drivers License
- Able to drive for extended periods of time (ideal)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Clean criminal background check
- Driving for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs occasionally (20-30lbs consistently)
