The **fueler **position's primary responsibility is refueling aircraft in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
**Job Functions and Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring fuel levels in aircraft tanks during refueling and communicating with pilots about any problems.
- Inspecting aircraft for damage or defects and reporting findings to appropriate personnel.
- Connecting fuel hoses to aircraft fuel ports and refueling aircraft using hand pumps or mechanized equipment such as fuel trucks or aerial refueling systems.
- Cleaning fuel spills and other debris from aircraft using absorbent pads or brooms.
- Observing the operation of aircraft during refueling to ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with procedures.
- Keeping logs of fuel deliveries and usage to track aircraft fuel consumption and replenishments.
- Monitor fueling process and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of refueling area and equipment
- Keep accurate records of fuel usage and inventory levels.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with other ground support activities as needed.
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be legal working age.
- Available able to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays.
- Wiliness to work overtime.
- Pass a federal background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to fuel aircraft and able to lift 80 pounds.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
