Diamond Setter

Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for position, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite.
- Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor/manager.
- Demonstrate the skill to set diamonds and precious stones according to Jeff The Jeweller's quality standards, including, but not limited to, setting pieces evenly on plane (in cases of multiple stones); taking proper care as not to damage stones.
- Perform setting process; deliver clean work in a timely manner, in keeping with the department’s efficiencies.
- Ability to work efficiently with a microscope, handpieces and other setting tools to perform applicable setting techniques.
- Verify and ensure components meet Jeff The Jeweller. complex quality guidelines and correctly identify unacceptable quality conditions. Communicate all quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Count and record individual daily production results, verify accuracy of work orders and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure daily that all precious metal is secured and precious metal scrap is turned in.

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
