We are looking for the right person to assist the Controller with a variety of accounting functions including, but not limited to:

- Accounts Payable - Input of accounts payable and visa expenses, scheduling payments, verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
- Accounts receivable - including monthly customer billing and collections
- Manage bi-weekly payroll preparation and timecard maintenance
- Conduct monthly credit card and banking reconciliations in a timely manner
- Make bank deposits
- Prepare government remittances as required
- Maintain electronic and paper filing system
- Be the back-up telephone attendant
- Assist Accounting Manager as required with various projects

**Applicant must have**:

- A strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a financial setting
- Minimum post-secondary education in accounting or similar field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software)
- Strong organization and time managements skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your work
- Ability to work independently and able to initiate work without constant direct supervision
- Must be accurate, thorough, and confidential
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability and willingness to work with others
- Must be able to clear a background and credit check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
