Arborist - Ground Support

UTS is looking to add to our team with multiple permanent positions available. Our company offers an established profit sharing program with benefits available.

We are a full service arboriculture company that operates 12 months a year. As an arborist, you are required to work to the highest standard of both quality and safety, as part of a team or as the lead hand. Customer service is a very important part of our industry so we are looking to add friendly individuals who work with enthusiasm, are self motivated, approachable, proactive and can be a team player/leader.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is typical of the duties a qualified arborist will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily a full list of services, or requirements. This is mainly a guide of duties that may be required:

- Grounds man duties as required, felling trees, chipping brush, running ropes ect..
- Hedge reduction and hedge trimming along with shrub and juvenile tree maintenance
- Operating a variety of machinery
- Maintaining tools of the industry and all machinery
- Climbing and Bucket operations for a multitude of reasoning, such as but not limited too pruning, removals, storm damage, elevations, reductions, cable installation ect..
- Experience working with a crane is an asset.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Excellent communication and ability to work within a team atmosphere.
- Planting and health care operations.
- Tailboards and safety sheets/job site paperwork.
- DZ an asset.

Drivers License

A clean driving license is essential due to the many job site locations and vehicles needed to preform the work. You will be required to drive company vehicles during the day.

Wages are based on experience, certifications and production.

**Job Types**: Internship / Co-op, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Full-time

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
