Snow Shovelers

**Overview**
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow from various surfaces to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment during winter weather conditions.

**Responsibilities**
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to assist in snow removal tasks.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition by performing routine maintenance checks.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including building garden beds, digging, and irrigation setup during non-snowy months.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks associated with snow removal operations.

**Requirements**:

- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or snow removal is preferred but not required.
- Must meet at shop in Rockland or park and ride near Place D’Orleans.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to gardening, digging, and irrigation systems is beneficial.

Pay: $19.00-$21.68 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
