Flash Frame Film & Video Network is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2001, and we are dedicated to advancing art production in Northwestern Ontario. We have an open-door policy and accept memberships from anyone in the community who may wish to join. We are hiring for a Workshop Coordination Intern. **Job DESCRIPTION**:

- Assist with the organization of workshops, including learning how to create and

maintain a budget for grants and projects.
- Communicate with workshop sponsors and help with fundraising efforts.
- Assist with facilitating filmmaking and educational workshops.
- Assist with maintaining the Flash Frame website.
- Develop mentorship skills as well as independent and creative thinking.
- Report to the board.
- Expand knowledge and interest in film and filmmaking.

**Education**: A recent university degree from Social Sciences and Humanities or college diploma in Media Production. Strong writing skills and a knowledge and interest in digital media production is essential. The intern will demonstrate a proficiency with editing software such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and basic website construction.

35 hours per week, $37,674 over 12 months. Application Deadline: 31 January, 2025
Starting Date: 10 February 2025
