**The Position. **Bercon Rentals Inc. is offering an excellent opportunity for a full-time permanent A/P Associate working within the Accounting Department.

To perform A/P functions and other accounting functions required by the department.
- Full-cycle AP for CAD vendors includes:

- Vendor setup
- Matching invoices to PO and/or packing slip
- Coding invoices
- Posting to accounting software
- Bi-monthly cheque run
- Responding to vendor enquiries
- Process and manage outside haulage vendor invoices
- Full-cycle AP for USD vendor payables
- Monthly office supplies order
- Process and manage employee CC statements
- All other duties as assigned by the manager

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2 years public accounting experience in a similar role
- Solid MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Thorough understanding of accounting procedures and practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer focus
- Proactive, positive, self-starting attitude
- Strong attention to detail; able to produce an accurate, thorough work product
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters
