- You hold at least a BSc in Kinesiology and are currently a licensed practitioner with the KCO.

Our disciplines include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Psychotherapy, Nursing, Case Management, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Therapy, Vocational Rehabilitation, Life Care Planning and Future Care Cost Reporting.

We are currently seeking a **Registered Kinesiologist **to provide services to Rehab First clients in the **Barrie Area.**

**Expectations of an RFI Rehabilitation Therapist**:

- Develop and implement of home and community-based gym/exercise therapy programs, work hardening and conditioning
- Musculoskeletal Assessment
- Strength and Endurance Testing
- Strength and Endurance Exercises
- Cardiovascular Exercises
- Range of Motion Exercises
- Functional Capacity Evaluation
- Cognitive Functional Capacity Evaluation
- Life Skills Training/Activities of Daily Living Job coaching
- Educational assistance
- Ergonomic assessments
- Social and Community reintegration

**What is nice to have**:

- Hydrotherapy: the development of aquatic programs to increase fitness or rehabilitative aquatic programs for injured populations to assist in returning the individual to their pre injury abilities
- Experience with brain injuries is beneficial
- Ideally, you have experience with a broad age demographic and occupational and non occupational injuries
- 1 - 5 years of experience in a health care setting, clinic or in the community
- Experience with Ontario’s Statutory Accident Benefit s (SABS) and ideally, WSIB Programs of Care (POCs)
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

**What is required**:

- You hold at least a BSc in Kinesiology and are currently a licensed practitioner with the KCO
- Valid CPR certificate
- Previous experience with creating and implementing physical exercise programs
- Superior communication, problem-solving, time management and documentation skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
- You enjoy team collaboration and understand your value and contributions as a member of our multidisciplinary team
- Valid Driver’s Licence and auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months
