**OVERVIEW**
The Cage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that proper internal control measures are in place and being followed for all financial transactions within the Cage Department.
This position ensures the highest levels of efficiency, accuracy, confidentiality and security in accordance with Company and BCLC standards. They will promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all guests, associates, and BCLC personnel.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES**
- Assists Cage staff during opening, closing and handover reconciliations
- Chip Bank management and reconciliation
- Issues of Gaming Table Fills and Credits
- Performs Credit/Debit Cash Advances and CPV transactions
- Knowledge of all promotions and events for the week/month
- Accepts Wire Transfers, EFT, PGF, Bank Drafts, Verified Win, Convenience and PGF cheques
- Supervises Cage staff to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness
- Verifies cashier asset transactions
- Coaches, mentors, and develops staff
- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Acts in the Cashier role when required
- Responsible for supervising, documenting and coaching all Team Members under your direct supervision to ensure they are adhering to the company customer service standards
- Ensures AML FINTRAC reporting of Cage transactions into the Everi system
- Reports all operational exceptions/concerns to Cage Management
- Verifies cage transactions when required
- Management of all cash counting and cash redemption equipment
- Maintains a good rapport with other departments
- Assists in unscheduled box pulls and counts
- Audits closed LCTs and PGF accounts
- Counterfeit recognition
- Compose Incident reports in CRS
- Administration duties as determined
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Post-secondary education in business administration or other applicable field is an asset
- Demonstrated excellent customer relations
- Proven superior customer service experience
- Efficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate needs of a casino environment
- General knowledge of the Cage Operations Standard Operating Procedures
- Leadership qualities with the ability for conflict resolution, effective decision making, and directing staff diplomatically
- Current working knowledge of the following casino management systems: GMS, SDS, CMP, and CRS. are an asset
- Minimum of one year in a gaming environment is an asset
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
**CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
