Village Ford Sales Inc. is looking to hire a controller to join our village ford team, o'byrne family owned since 1939

This position is resonsible for performing a variety of activities in support of a financial reporting function and efficient daily operation of the dealership. this includes financial record preparation and analysis, and adherence to all standard accounting practices and statutes

**Responsibilities**:
Accurate and timely financuial reporting

Ensure all month-end and year-end reportsa re completed on time and accurately

full cycle accounting including month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries,invoicing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations

accounts receivable and accounts payable management including review, payment management, and reconcilations

Process gst remittances and monthly reporting,prepare manufacturer financial statements

work closely with management to manafe balance sheets \, inventory, and expense analysis, monitor cash balances, receivables,, and flooring payouts, process payroll including roe, t4 and year end procedures, ensure all standard accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently and accurately applied, perform additional accounting responsibilities as required,

**Skills**:and understanding of the interworking of a dealership enviroment, particularly as it relates to accounting,

demonstated knoledge and understanding accounting procedures,

strong computer literacy

demonstarted excellent interpersonal skills, must be a effective communicator both verbally and in wrinting

a high degree of common sense and intellect with a well-developed business acumen

demonstrated abilty to coordinate activities or various departments

organizational ability and attention to detail,

abilty to work in a team enviroment to achieve common goals,

abiltity to work in a fast paced
- enviroment

Qualifications Requires:
Minimum 5 years accounting

post secondary education in accounting

professional accounting designation( or working towards a Canadian designation) is a asset

experience in the automotive industry and familiar with dealership software, adp, reynolds, we use dis

stong microsoft excell skills

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
