Seasonal Tire Technician and Shop Help

We are Canada's oldest Toyota Dealer, dedicated to providing our customers with the best service possible. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Seasonal Tire Technician and Shop Help for a full time 3 month contract.

Job Duties:

- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair services and seasonal tire swapping.
- Assist with general shop tasks including cleaning and organizing.
- Conduct tire inspections to assess tread depth, wear patterns, and overall condition.
- Assist customers with tire selection and recommendations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Ontario Class 'G' driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in tire installation, maintenance, or automotive service preferred.
- Knowledge of tire products, tools, and equipment.
- Attention to detail with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capable of lifting 35+ pounds and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.

Wage: $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience
