Dishwasher, Stewarding

You will work closely with the culinary team to maintain a hygienic and organized kitchen environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and other kitchen utensils.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils to maintain sanitation standards.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including removal of trash and recycling.
- Follow established procedures for dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the culinary team with food preparation tasks when needed.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth flow of operations.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the business needs.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
