Assist the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments and surgical procedures
Assisting the Veterinarian during surgical procedures and cleaning and storing the surgical instruments when the procedure is over.
Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and stored
Collect and preserve laboratory samples that must be shipped offsite for more comprehensive testing
Prepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits
Excellent knowledge of Avimark, animal handling techniques, work flexible hours and proven customer service is valued.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- veterinary technician: 2 years (required)
