Night PSW Job Description

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to elderly clients during the night shift
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up and laundry
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary

**Skills**:

- Caregiving: Experience in providing care and support to elderly individuals
- Medication Administration: Knowledge of proper medication administration techniques and adherence to medication schedules
- Home Care: Familiarity with providing care in a home setting
- Nursing Home: Understanding of the unique needs and challenges of working in a nursing home environment
- Dementia Care: Ability to provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory impairments
- Senior Care: Knowledge of the physical and emotional needs of older adults
- Meal Preparation: Ability to prepare nutritious meals for clients based on dietary restrictions or preferences
- Cleanliness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for clients
- Assisted Living: Understanding of the services provided in an assisted living facility
