**A day in the life **

The Project Manager, ERP will bring forth a level of expertise in this field, that is coupled with your sound project and change management approaches. Understanding the complexities in large-scale technological and business systems transformational initiatives, its governance, opportunities and risks will be essential in delivering a successful project in this environment. Reporting to the Manager, ERP you will act as a partner, collaborator and delivery agent that provides a complete suite of quality project management services.

The Project Manager will work collaboratively and closely with the ERP Leadership Team, functional teams, Regional staff and the System Implementation partner on a constant basis to develop and monitor the schedules associated with ERP phases of work, sub-project deliverables, issues, risks and stakeholder planning and organization to meet required deliverables. Working with multiple priorities and timelines in a given day will be critical in order to successfully achieve targeted milestones and phases.

**_
Program and Project Management:_**
- Develops comprehensive project plans for the ERP program streams (Finance and Procurement) which includes collections of several concurrent and inter-dependent sub-projects, including collaboration with the HR ERP project stream
- Leads the processes, procedures and documentation related to developing, managing, executing long-term project schedules that translate project outcomes into tangible implementation actions
- Facilitates the identification, planning, measurement and tracking of project outcomes and benefits
- Advises on project (or sub-project) prioritization based on objective evaluations, strategic alignment and management consideration to ensure that key projects proceed amidst limited resource and time availability
- Oversees the documentation, analysis, tracking and prioritization of project requirements in order to define the scope of work necessary
- Oversees the transition of project deliverables into regular business operations, including personnel training and knowledge transfer
- Oversees the financial development and management of projects consistent with organizational financial processes, policies and by-laws
- Close projects and conduct post-implementation review

- Works with executive leadership and project stakeholders across the organization to develop and enable targeted and actionable change management plans that increase employee engagement and adoption of project related changes
- Works with business areas across the organization to ensure projects are resourced with the right networks of staff, providing sound advice, counsel and proactive insights in honest and respectful manner

**_ Communication, Risk Management and Enterprise Awareness _**
- Delivers recommendations surrounding creation, improvement and/or re-design of existing process to meet new business needs or quality standards derived from the project
- Delivers presentations to various audiences internal and external to the Region
- Provides proactive advice and recommendations surrounding the development of future-state business models, functions, services, processes, resourcing, technology options, etc. necessary to produce intended project outcomes
- Identifies and assesses connections between projects and other initiatives, operational efforts or Regional strategic priorities in order to ensure deliverables align to overall organizational direction
- Carries out regular progress reporting to measure and communication project performance
- Ensures project risks and issues are identified managed accordingly
- Collaborates with procurement representatives to manage vendor relationships, ensure the fulfilment contractual products and services obligations are upheld

- Undergraduate degree in business management, finance, accounting, information management systems, human resources, public policy/administration or related fields
